    Databases & Data Collection

Modern websites allow for more interaction than ever before, how do I collect all that data?

These days most websites have a database structure living behind them. Whether it is to record simple user records submitted through an online form, a fully integrated Content Management System or an ecommerce product catalogue databases are a required part of modern website development.
The problem with databases is that they are often viewed as complex and expensive. Modern database technology has meant that database development is much more common place, and does not require bespoke technical knowledge.

What it does require is the ability to look at the type of data you want to store, and the relationships between each of your applications. By planning your data storage effectively up front like this you can save a great deal of project time and cost.
We have experience in the design and deployment of database schemas to accommodate anything from simple form data capture all the way up to secure ecommerce transactional websites.
As part of our database design we look to build the online storage in such a way as to be able to easily import all your online data into your offline storage, such as your CRM. In this way you can actually use the data you collect online within your day to day business, alongside the data gathered from your other marketing channels.
